This fund was set up in memory of Peg Masciotto, who passed away during her term as President of the Association. The $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually to one recipient.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

A Municipal Court Administrator, Deputy Court Administrator or other Municipal Court personnel or any child or grandchild of same

• “C” average or better

• New Jersey Resident

• Proof of acceptance as a matriculated student to an accredited institution

• Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional, not personal)

• Essay-explained below

Applicants are to compose an essay (minimum of 1,000 words, typed-double spaced) which should be submitted with the requirements listed above to:

Applications and essays should be received by April 23, 2010.

THE ESSAY TOPIC IS:

"EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR

MAJOR/MINOR IN TODAY’S SOCIETY"

Letters of recommendation may be sent under separate cover and should be received by April 23, 2010.

The Scholarship Committee will render a decision by May 7, 2010. The recipient will be notified and the scholarship awarded at the June 11, 2010 MCAA of NJ meeting.
