This fund was set up in memory of Peg Masciotto, who passed away during her term as President of the Association. The $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually to one recipient.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

A Municipal Court Administrator, Deputy Court Administrator or other Municipal Court personnel or any child or grandchild of same

• “C” average or better

• New Jersey Resident

• Proof of acceptance as a matriculated student to an accredited institution

• Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional, not personal)

• Essay-explained below

Applicants are to compose an essay (minimum of 1,000 words, typed-double spaced) which should be submitted with the requirements listed above to:

Applications and essays should be received by April 20, 2012.

THE ESSAY TOPIC IS:

"Describe some issue of personal, local, national or

international concern and its importance to you"

Letters of recommendation may be sent under separate cover and should be received by April 20, 2012.

The Scholarship Committee will render a decision by May 4, 2012. The recipient will be notified and the scholarship awarded at the June 8, 2012 MCAA of NJ meeting.
