I hope everyone had a joyous holiday season. I would like to thank Bob Smith, Director of Trial Court Services of the AOC for speaking at our December 9, 2011 holiday meeting. It is always a pleasure to have Bob attend our meeting and address our Association. He gave an interesting and informative presentation on the state of the Courts.

I would also like to thank 2^nd Vice President Daniella Trancho for hosting the holiday meeting at the American Hotel in Freehold, NJ. The meal was enjoyable, the atmosphere was pleasant and the hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. I would also like to thank Sergeant-At Arms Claudia Santos for making the lovely holiday gift bags. Thank you to everyone who attended the holiday meeting, it was a pleasure to see all of you.

If you have any suggestions for speakers or for upcoming programs please contact any Officer of the Executive Board. Your ideas are always welcome and needed. Your participation and membership in the Association is important in keeping the MCAA of NJ a strong and sustained influence at the State level. Our next meeting will be held on March 9, 2012. I hope to see everyone at our upcoming meetings and conferences. Thank you for your support and best wishes for a healthy and Happy New Year!
